The week before your shoot

GET YOUR MIND READY

Confidence is key, so remind yourselves daily how good you look with some light-hearted flirting with your partner to get comfortable expressing affection in front of the camera.


Remember, this is a celebration of your love! ♥


STYLING TIPS

Choose outfits that reflect your personalities and complement each other. Avoid solid white and busy patterns. Coordinate colors but don't match too perfectly. Feel free to bring a backup outfit just in case. Note that your photographer is happy to help you choose your outfits ahead of time.


Your engagement ring will be a focal point of many of the photos, so make sure it's sparkling clean! Give it a gentle polish before the shoot to make it shine.

GROOMING TIPS

Consider getting your hair and nails done professionally for that extra polished look. Make sure your hairstyle is one you feel confident and comfortable with, and that your nails are clean and well-groomed. Get onto your HMUA's calendars ASAP!


Plan for a solid 3 hours of glam on top of travel time, when putting together your shoot day itinerary.


Start prepping your skin at least week before your shoot by staying hydrated and moisturizing regularly. Avoid trying any new skincare products or treatments right before the shoot to prevent any adverse reactions.

24 hours before and 24 hours after

THE DAY BEFORE

Pack your bags! Don't forget a water bottle and snacks!


To minimize stress on the day of the shoot. Have everything ready to go. Iron or steam any outfits that you have already picked out. Check in with your photographer, and HMUA. Double check travel times and weather on locations.


THE DAY OF

Update your photographer before departing to our shooting location. Plan to arrive on time and ready to have fun! We will guide you through poses and prompts to capture natural and beautiful moments between you and your partner. Engagement photoshoots can be physically and emotionally demanding. We recommend staying hydrated and getting plenty of rest the night before to ensure you're feeling your best and ready to enjoy the experience.

AFTER

Since you will already be made up; celebrate the success of your photoshoot with a romantic date night! Choose a spot where you can reminisce about the day and enjoy each other's company.


Within 3 days, you will receive a proofing gallery to select images for retouching. About 2 weeks after your selections are finalized you will receive your final gallery, with the option to order prints.
